Do you work on both springs and openers?

Yes. Torsion spring replacement and opener repair are two of the most common calls we get, especially on doors that have been running since the 1960s or 70s, which describes a lot of the housing stock in this area. We handle both on the same visit when a door needs it.

How far out do you go - do you cover Struthers or Campbell?

Yes to both. Campbell sits about 3 miles out and Struthers about 4, both well inside the area we cover. We also take calls from Austintown, Churchill, Girard, Poland, Hubbard, and other towns within roughly a 20-mile ring of Youngstown.

My door is original to the house - is it worth fixing?

Depends on the door and what's wrong with it. A lot of homes here were built between the late 1930s and 2000, and plenty of original doors from the 1960s and 70s are still running fine with a spring or roller swap. Others have hardware that's hard to source anymore, and at that point replacement usually makes more sense than repair.

What We Do Not Take On

We don't do new construction installs for builders running multiple houses at once - that's a different kind of job with different scheduling than a homeowner call, and it's not what we're set up for.

We also don't take on full commercial overhead door work - loading dock doors, rolling steel doors on warehouses, that kind of equipment runs on different hardware and different code than a residential sectional door.

And honestly, on some of the oldest doors we get called to - the ones original to houses from the 1940s and 50s in this area - parts can be a real problem. Certain track hardware and panel styles from that era just aren't made anymore, and if a distributor doesn't have a match, replacement ends up being the more sensible option than chasing a part that may not show up. We'll tell you straight if that's where a job is headed instead of stringing along a repair that won't hold.
